In Halepa, before you encounter the Palace and the house of Venizelos, there is the building of the former French School of the nuns, of the St. Joseph order. It is a spacious building, surrounded by a fence-wall.
The school offered high quality French courses- which was then the "international language"- to many generations of rich girls.
